NTA 2026 Exams के लिए Photo और Signature — Complete Guide
National Testing Agency (NTA) भारत की सबसे बड़ी exam-conducting body है जो हर साल NEET UG (Medical admissions), JEE Main (Engineering admissions) और CUET UG (Central University admissions) आयोजित करती है। इन तीनों exams में मिलाकर हर साल 50 लाख से ज़्यादा students apply करते हैं। Application form fill करते समय सबसे पहली और सबसे common गलती होती है — गलत size, format या file weight की photo और signature upload करना। NTA का portal automated है और यह system milliseconds में file को scan करके reject कर देता है। इसीलिए यह tool बनाया गया है — ताकि बिना किसी technical knowledge के, बिना कोई software install किए, आप अपनी photo और signature को NTA की exact specifications के अनुसार तैयार कर सकें।
📸 Passport Size Photo — तीनों Exams के Official Specifications
NEET UG, JEE Main और CUET UG — तीनों exams में passport photo की requirements लगभग identical हैं। Photo physically 3.5×4.5 cm (width × height) होनी चाहिए, जो digitally 200×230 pixels के बराबर होती है। File format strictly JPG या JPEG होना चाहिए और file weight (size) 10 KB से 200 KB के बीच होनी चाहिए। इससे कम या ज़्यादा होने पर portal error दिखाएगा।
- Background: Plain white या बहुत हल्का off-white background — coloured walls, curtains, outdoor backgrounds या shadows strictly rejected हैं।
- Face coverage: कम से कम 80% frame में आपका चेहरा होना चाहिए — दोनों कान और पूरा माथा clearly visible होना ज़रूरी है।
- Cap / Hat: किसी भी प्रकार का headwear — religious या non-religious — allowed नहीं है। यह rule तीनों exams पर uniformly apply होता है।
- Spectacles: Regular prescription glasses allowed हैं, लेकिन lens पर कोई glare नहीं होनी चाहिए। Dark tinted या sunglasses किसी भी exam में allowed नहीं।
- Mask / Face covering: किसी भी प्रकार का face covering completely banned है — चेहरे के सभी features clearly visible होने चाहिए।
- Recency: NEET UG 2026 के लिए photo 1 January 2026 के बाद ली हुई होनी चाहिए। JEE और CUET के लिए भी recent photo preferred है।
- Expression: Neutral expression, mouth closed, आँखें खुली और सीधे camera की तरफ देखते हुए।
🩺 NEET UG 2026 — 4 Extra Documents जो JEE और CUET में नहीं होते
NEET UG सिर्फ passport photo और signature तक सीमित नहीं है। इसमें चार अलग documents upload करने होते हैं जो JEE Main और CUET में बिल्कुल नहीं होते। बहुत से students form fill करते समय last moment पर इन्हें discover करते हैं और panic में गलत file upload कर देते हैं।
- Passport Photo: 3.5×4.5 cm (200×230 px), 10–200 KB, JPG — standard passport photo।
- Postcard Size Photo: 4×6 inch (10.16×15.24 cm) का बड़ा photograph — digitally 432×576 pixels, 10–200 KB, JPG। यह photo admit card के साथ physically paste भी करनी होती है। इसे कभी छोटी photo को zoom-in या stretch करके नहीं बनाएं — हमेशा phone camera से directly high-resolution photo लें।
- Left Hand Thumb Impression: Stamp pad से white unlined paper पर left thumb को दबाकर impression लें। फिर phone से clearly photo खींचें और upload करें — 10–200 KB, JPG।
- Right Hand Fingers Impression: Same process — right hand की index, middle, ring और little fingers का impression — 10–200 KB, JPG। Ridges clearly visible होने चाहिए।
✍️ Signature — तीनों Exams के Rules और File Size Limits
Signature एक white, unlined paper पर black या dark blue ink pen से करें। Ballpoint pen prefer करें — gel pen से ink smear हो सकती है। Sign करने के बाद phone से clearly photograph लें — good lighting में ताकि ink और background का contrast अच्छा हो।
- NEET UG 2026: 4–30 KB, 140×60 px — यह सबसे tight range है, इसलिए compress करना ज़रूरी है।
- JEE Main 2026: 10–100 KB, 140×60 px — थोड़ी ज़्यादा flexibility।
- CUET UG 2026: 10–50 KB, 140×60 px — medium range।
⚠️ WhatsApp से Photo Transfer — सबसे बड़ी गलती
हर साल लाखों students यह गलती करते हैं। Phone पर perfectly resize की हुई photo को WhatsApp से laptop पर भेजते हैं — और WhatsApp उसे automatically heavily compress करके WEBP format में convert कर देता है। आपकी 95 KB की crisp photo 11 KB की blurry file बन जाती है। CUET portal तो WEBP format को silently reject करता है बिना कोई proper error दिखाए।
